The gifts he gave were to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity and maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13).

Children and Worship (Ages Pre-K through Grade 1): Each week classroom leaders and greeters work together to create a true worship experience for our little ones. The children enjoy stories, activities, feasts and music. Watching their faith blossom is an incredibly rewarding experience!

Faith Works Grades 2, 3, and 4   and grades 5,6,7 (8th before Confirmation class begins): This enriching program generates a great deal of enthusiasm. In a rotational setting, the same Bible story or theme is taught for several weeks. Children rotate to different, hands-on learning stations each Sunday, encountering the story in different ways through art, music, cooking, science, computers, drama, games and video.

Sunday School Mission Beneficiaries: We give to mission programs, which include Heifer International, Holiday Giving Tree, Food Pantry and others - a great way to help by doing a little.

Confirmation Class (Grades 7, 8 & Older): The intention of confirmation class is help our young adults learn not only about Jesus but also to learn why knowing Jesus is worth learning about. Through Bible studies, Christian service opportunities, group discussions, a confirmation class retreat, issues related to the Christian life and church membership are presented in a way that is fun and exciting. It is a great opportunity for your son or daughter to begin the process of discovery God’s plan for their lives.

Youth Fellowship: Youth Fellowship offers a supportive, trustworthy, and respectful environment which provides students with an opportunity to deepen their faith in Christ while enjoying activities with one another. See calendar for meeting dates.
This pre-confirmation class studies Presbyterian worship and its structure and then develops a youth-oriented version of it. The end result will be a full service that the students create, with their own music selections, sermon, etc. In essence, these young people are exploring the meaning of what Presbyterians do and then implement what they have learned.

Adult Education (Any Age)

G.I.F.T. – Growing In Faith Together: Led by the pastor, Monday afternoon Bible study meets from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM for the purpose of learning more about the Bible passages on which the sermon will be based. Through study and fellowship, attendees will learn more about God’s love in Jesus and how to grow more loving in Jesus’ name.

Bible Study 101: Led by Doyle Frank after worship in the Fellowship Hall, this study explores everything you might want to know about the Bible but are afraid to ask. In the fall of 2009, we are studying the New Testament. New members are welcome.

Unlocking the Bible: A video series led by Pastor Dave and Lily Wilson, themes of the Bible will be examined and discussed. The course focuses on the salvation for humankind offered by Jesus Christ. Time and location are to be announced. Check the calendar.

ADULT FELLOWSHIP - Social Opportunities: Occur throughout the year. Check the church calendar for more information.

Book Study: Meets at 7 PM approximately every six weeks.  We read a variety of types of books and discuss them. Call the church office or check the calendar for the next date.

Knitting Group: For individuals who enjoy knitting, who may want to learn how to knit, or who want to improve their knitting skills, two knitting groups are available to achieve those goals. The Wednesday afternoon group meets from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the kitchen table on the second floor of our Outreach Center. The Thursday evening group meets from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the lower level of the Outreach Center. Both groups knit prayer shawls for individuals who are ill or in need of comfort as well as various projects. All are welcome. Check the calendar for further information and/or changes.

Caring for Others: The Board of Deacons and members of the church provide visits and meals to our shut-ins and those who are ill. Outreach involves sending cards, flowers, visiting church members in the hospital, home, and nursing homes. We send care packages to our college students and military who are away from us. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is prepared by the Deacons and celebrated the first Sunday of the month. The Deacons and Session, along with the pastor, take communion to individuals who are unable to attend Sunday worship.

Chancel Choir and Praise Team: When in our Music God is Glorified’ – the name of that great hymn is the driving purpose of our music program: to praise God’s faithful love. The chancel choir, under the direction of our church organist, Al Gunther, leads the congregation in worship most Sundays. The Praise Team is led by church members and friends who enjoy singing contemporary Christian praise songs with guitars and other musical instruments. New voices are always being sought and are welcomed. Please call the church office for more information.
